Baptism.

We love celebrating lives being changed by Christ.

Baptism is one way we are able to hear life change stories from within our church and celebrate what God is doing at OCC.

This outward expression of an inward decision to put your faith in Christ is a way to show people, in both the church and the community, that you are "all in" as a follower (Disciple) of Jesus Christ. If you have put your faith in Jesus, and have not been baptized then baptism is your next step.

Go and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the

Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19

If you are interested in baptism, please reach out to us and we will set up a time to meet with you regarding our beliefs about baptism and to set up a date.  Our church believes that baptism takes place after a person becomes a Christ Follower.  Having said this, we do not believe that infant baptism is scriptural.  We also believe that baptism is not a requirement for salvation but baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision.

I would encourage you to listen to this message by Andy Stanley regarding what baptism is.
